This wilderness area has a total of 525,627 acres, second largest in California and 55 lakes. It is located in the Shasta-Trinity, Klamath and Six Rivers National Forests in California. Approximately 17 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) runs through the northern part of this wilderness.
