Backpacking Guide Service
Guided Backpacking Trips-
Randy will guide you to the Wilderness of your choice. Transportation to the trailhead is up to each individual participating on the trip. Most trailheads are accessible with a two wheel drive car. Arrangements can be made with Randy for those trailheads that require an off-road vehicle.
(All trips can be shortened or lengthened to satisfy your particular needs.)
Day/Overnight Trips-

• $50.00 per person 2 or more
• 50% down required to confirm a date
• Non-refundable Deposit if notification is not received 2 weeks prior to departure
• Backpacking/Mule Trips Available (inquire)
• All Trips include maps
• All Trips include pictures on a CD and mailed later

These are just some trips that I suggest, but I can customize any trip to the lakes you want to visit. Prices below are figured as if two persons or more are going on the guided trip.

Hedgecreek Falls and Mossbrae Falls (2.5 miles roundtrip)
$50.00 per person Add 3% for U.S. Forest Service Fee
Hedgecreek Falls path winds down a 1/4 mile path to the falls and then to an overlook point on the Sacramento River while the Mossbrae Falls trail winds along the railroad tracks to the waterfalls cascading over a hillside of brilliant green plants, into the pristine Sacramento River.

Black Butte Day Trip (5 miles roundtrip)
$50 per person Add 3% for U.S. Forest Service Fee
Hike 2.5 miles to the top of Black Butte to see Weed, Mt. Shasta, Mt. Eddy and Mt. McLoughlin which is 70 miles away.

Deadfalls Lakes/Mt. Eddy Day Trip (7.5 miles, 2.6 optional)
$50 per person Add 3% for U.S. Forest Service Fee
From the Deadfall Lakes Trailhead, a 2.9 mile gradual hike through the trees until we arrive at the 2 Lower Deadfall Lakes. From there we will hike 1.5 miles to the Upper Deadfall Lakes and (Optional) another 1.3 miles to the top of Mt. Eddy.

East Boulder Lakes Day Trip (5.5 miles roundtrip)
$50 per person Add 3% for U.S. Forest Service Fee
The trail to East Boulder leads gently up through the forest and meadow until you pass along side of East Boulder Falls in about 1 mile. Once at East Boulder, we will continue another 3/4 mile to the 3 upper Boulder Lakes. For a spectacular view, follow the trail 1/4 to the summit to overlook all 4 of the East Boulder Lakes.

Duck Lake Hike (13.5 miles roundtrip)
$100 per person Add 3% for U.S. Forest Service Fee
Day 1 – Hike 4.5 miles to Big Duck Lake and Little Duck Lake
Day 2- Hike 3 miles into Horseshoe Lake and then 4.5 miles back to the trailhead

Porcupine Lake, Deadfall Lakes and Mt. Eddy Hike (18.8 miles)
$150 per person Add 3% for U.S. Forest Service Fee
Day 1 – Hike 5.2 miles on the PCT to Porcupine Lake
Day 2 – Continue on the PCT 6.2 miles to Deadfall Lakes
Day 3 – Hike 2.2 miles to the top of Mt. Eddy and back to Deadfall Lakes Trailhead

East Boulder Trailhead to Carter Meadows Trailhead (20.4 miles)
$200 per person Add 3% for U.S. Forest Service Fee
Day 1 - Hike 4.2 miles to East Boulder Lakes and Marshy Lakes
Day 2 - Hike 8 miles to Mavis Lake, view 3 middle Boulder Lakes, West Boulder and Fox Creek Lake
Day 3 – Hike 5.7 miles of the PCT and then 1 mile to South Forks Lakes
Day 4 - Hike out to 2.5 miles to trailhead and take an optional 2 mile round trip to Hidden Lake

Sky High Lakes, Marble Mountain and Red Rock Valley Hike (25.8)
$200 per person Add 3% for U.S. Forest Service Fee
Day 1 – Hike 7.5 miles to Sky High Lakes
Day 2 – Hike 4.3 miles to the top of Marble Mountain
Day 3 – Hike 3.9 miles on the PCT, then 2.5 miles down into Red Rock Valley
Day 4 – Day hike 2 miles into Little Elk Lake, then 5.5 miles down Red Rock Valley to Trailhead

Sawyers Bar Mule/Backpacking 5 Day Trip Combo (36 miles total)
$550 per person Add 3% for U.S. Forest Service Fee
Trip includes Mule for you and your gear to the first lake. From there we hike to different lake every day and end up at a different trailhead.
Day 1 – Mule trip in 11 miles and spend night at Pine Lake
Day 2 - View 4 different lakes and hike into Hancock Lake (3.2 miles)
Day 3 – Hike to Wild Lake (6.8 miles)
Day 4 – Hike into Lake of the Island (7 miles)
Day 5 – Hike out to a different trailhead (8 miles)
