Backpacking Guide Service

Being that I was born and raised in Siskiyou County has meant that I have had the opportunity to live close to what I consider one of the most beautiful places on earth. Since retiring, I have been fortunate enough to devote a lot of my time to exploring the backcountry. My quest is to hike into as many lakes as possible, having already visited over 170 different lakes. The beauty and peaceful surroundings of these wilderness lakes can only be achieved after spending time and effort hiking into these trails. When embarking on a hike, I always make it a priority to take my fishing pole in order to catch rainbow and eastern brook trout, as well as my camera in order to capture the breathtaking scenery that I encounter. “How can it get any better than being in the outdoors, enjoying the fresh air and blue skies, catching fish, and sharing it with friends?”
What I Do
My Backpacking Guide Service can lead you through the most exclusive Northern California Wilderness Areas of the Marble Mountains, the Russians, the Trinity Alps and the Eddy's! The “Guide Trips” link offers a variety of suggested trips ranging from day to overnight trips. It is also feasible to customize any trip if you have other ideas of where you would like to go. The main goal is to make this experience a memorable one.
